DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. (test below) DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I have a friend, who weighs the same as me, he is muscley, I am fat. The scale says I have less body fat. THIS TEST PROVES THIS PRODUCT IS UTTER RUBBISH.

Don’t buy if you value your data When you purchase this product, the first thing you have to do is to create an account on their app requiring a data connection. For example, you cannot even change the units of measure (default is pounds) to kilograms without creating a profile on the app, it’s ridiculous. There is no reason to have a data connection, you just need the connectivity of Bluetooth to toggle any settings of the scales. But they have a made a conscious decision to not allow the app to operate truly offline, because…

I’m holding off full judgement until I get to know the mechanics better So, this is a very stylish device. It connects via your app and gives you all kinds of readings beyond your weight. While I have compared my weights on this and another machine, I have not been able to verify my others readings in a similar manner.For the time being, I feel this is a good device but I am unsure how it calculates these results and therefore I am a bit sceptical.
